the gloves shown here were made for my Grillby cosplay, but this is how i make all of my gloves.
Supplies
Step 1
First I traced my hand onto the t-shirt (making sure it was wrong side out that way the right sides were already facing each other) I also made sure that I had seam allowance. From the same shirt I cut strips that were 1 inch wide, this will depend on how wide your hand is, I could have actually done with 1/2 inch, but I wanted to make sure I had enough.
Step 2
Next I stitched the strips all around the gloves in between the two pieces. I went all the way to the end on one side, but left a bit off of the other side, I knew I couldn't sew it all the way down both sides otherwise I wouldn't be able to fit my hand into the glove.
Step 3
For the side that I didn't sew all the way down, I glued on small strips of velcro.
Finishing
This part is optional, it's just what I do. I flip the gloves wrong side out and then stitch around my fingers to make the gloves tighter. If you like your gloves loose than you don't have to do it, I felt for the Grillby cosplay that tight gloves looked better. I also took my Red, Orange, and Yellow paint and painted flames onto them.
