Steps 1-5
So I didn't actually take pictures of the steps as I was doing them, simply because I had to make this in a hurry, so I'm going to walk you through what I did.
- Step 1. I took the original ears off of the headband, the only reason I did this was because the ears were glued to the top of the headband, and this caused it to have this really weird and awkward bump at the top.
- Step 2. I then sewed some hair clips onto the ears, this is optional, if you want you can just glue them further down on the headband. But I wanted to give my mom (and myself since we tend to share cosplay accessories) the option of simply clipping the ears to a wig. But after I did that my mom just simply clipped them back onto the headband for the night lol.
- Step 3. Next up I took some clip on devil horns that I found at the thrift store, painted them white, and clipped them onto the top of the headband.
- Step 4. After that all of the essentials were done...But the headband still looked a bit empty to me, so I decided to take some yellow silk flowers and cover all of the headband that was showing between the ears and the horns. I simply cut most of the stems off, and hot glued them into place.
- Step 5. After that I glued down some green fabric, making sure I glued from the back around to the top and bottom to hide the stems and also keep everything in place. The horns can no longer come off (which is fine with us) but the ears can still be removed. And that's it! This headband can be used for Toriel (Like my mom did) or a child Asriel. You would need bigger horns if you wanted this to be for adult Asriel or Asgore.
