Supplies
Step 1
Cut out a 2X2 inch square from the gray foam
And cut the sides like so
Step 2
Now cut two slits into the top
Step 3
Just like with the whisk we are going to take some tin foil, fold it many times, and then twist it. One side going clockwise, the other, counterclockwise. Until it feels sturdy enough, and then gluing a piece of tin foil over it to give it a smoother look.
Step 4
Take your tin foil line and gently form a U shade. Hot glue one end into each hole.
Step 5
Now take some more tin foil, and glue it to the foam.
Step 6
Now paint the entire thing gold
Step 7
For the cluster of jewels, start off with drawing out your shape onto your white cardboard.
Step 8
Now take your hot glue and build up the shape on the form, it can be as thick or as thin as you want
Step 9
Now cut out the shape, pay no attention to the green paint, I got ahead of myself lol
Step 10
Now cut out 2 thin strips of tin foil, 2 thick Xs, and a larger piece
Step 11
Wrap the larger piece around from the back and up on the sides, gluing in place.
Step 12
Take the thin strips and glue them onto the front, creating an X shape. Then glue the 2 thick Xs in the middle, to create a smaller X shape.
Step 13
Paint the tin foil gold as well and glue it to the front of your lock.
Step 14
Now put some more hot glue on the hearts, this will make it glob up around the tin foil and look more like jewels
Step 15
Now take your neon paint, and paint the jewels. Make sure to cover all of the hot glue
Step 16
Now using your black, paint a key hole in the middle of your lock
Finishing
Finish off by adding a layer of clear coat or some sort of glossy finish sealer to the jewels to add shine. Hook it on a chain and you're done!
